| Fernandes: Lotus to launch in February |

Lotus, one of four new teams joining the grid this year, plan to officially unveil their 2010 car next month. Team principal Tony Fernandes announced on his official Twitter page that the machine will be launched on Friday February 12. Chief technical officer Mike Gascoyne confirmed recently the start-up outfit were a week ahead of schedule and looking forward to firing up their car's engine for the first time on February 5. The announcement they have now set a date to unveil their car is further good news for the team's new fans. |
